The root of the word “technology” is the Greek word tecknos, which means “art.” Technology has been linked to art for centuries. For example, it took almost four years for Leonardo Da Vinci to paint the Mona Lisa, the most famous painting in the world. Today, it would take a graphic artist using a computer about five minutes to reproduce her. What is your view of the idea that today’s art is technology?

Technology is associated with art in many ways. You can make art through technology such as drawings, or even collages. You can make video games, and graphic design!!!

I fear technology because we can not make it without it. I believe that if we take away all technology in the world, the world would go to crap. Everything would crash and it would be mayhem in the streets.

I read an article about these girls who created an app in a 3rd world country. With the app they were able to locate fresh water for people nearest to them.

How have computers revolutionize education?

computers have allowed students to continue their education and learn more throughout school.  I believe kids learn better when they are using technology, or even if they have technology incorporated in their learning experience.

On this day in 1877, the phonograph was invented. This machine allowed people to listen to phonograph records. How do you think listening to these records was different than listening to music today? What may be the advantages and disadvantages of each type of machine?

The sound quality was not as good and it was very blotchy. I think that music quality today is very clear and understandable.

On December 3, 1967, the first successful heart transplant was conducted. It is important to keep your heart, along with the rest of your body, healthy. I am eating healthy and right. I try to load up on protein and carbs and get lots of calories in my body so I can get bigger. I try to eat at least 3 meals a day. I drink my protein shake once a day. I also take a multi-vitamin and creatine

I would keep our animal as the bald eagle because it represents freedom and it is a cool animal. The bald eagle is strong and free. While turkeys are weak.

I believe technology is not like magic because we invented it, while magic is fake. Most magic is just illusions and mind games. Technology is not a mind game, nor is it a illusion.

I believe that our technology in the US compared to some of the technology in mid Africa is very different. I believe we are more advanced in technology, and we continue to improve, while they do not have the money, nor the education to develop this new technology

The piece of technology I chose is a phone because it causes people a lot of stress and problems in their life. They have to pay things on their phone, and they get news on their phone good or bad.

How would your life have been different if you'd grown up 20 years earlier? 10 years earlier? 10 years later? 20 years later? How would technology have affected your life differently? Would you be a different person today (other than age-wise)?

I believe that if I were to grow up 20 years later I would be very selfish and very technology dependent. I would need technology to do everything, and I would not be thankful for anything. I'm pretty sure everything would just be handed to me and I would not earn anything.

What do you think about the Amazon Echo and your privacy?

I think the Amazon Echo is a very cool device and I like it. I think it would be cool to own a echo and I am not very concerned about my  privacy. If the echo hears what I am talking about then so be it.

How do you feel as though technology has changed your relationships with other people? Do you consider your interpersonal connection better or worse with the innovations of texting, Twitter, Facebook, and the like? Be specific and cite several examples.

Technology has allowed me to meet so many new people and I have created life long friendships through the computer. Mainly I meet people Through video games and steam. I have also met many people through social media such as twitter and instagram.

So basically I'm getting black ops 3 today and I am super excited. I'm probably going to play it all night tonight. There is also this game that I have been playing called Dirty Bomb and that game is extremely fun.

Yes, I do think it is fair because students can eat peanut butter elsewhere. It is not good to put others in risk when you can just eat is somewhere else. Many  students are very allergic to peanut butter, and if they are in contact with it the health risks are very dangerous.

I think digital footprints are traces of what you have done on the internet. You have to be careful with what you do, because companies can track what you do. Everything you do on the internet it seen.

If I had a thousand dollars I would save it in my savings account. I would keep it for a rainy day, or if I need to pay for a trip or something. I am usually pretty good at keeping my bank account stable.

I would call Kendall Jenner because she is super hot and yea. I would ask Kendall to go on a date with me and buy me a new car because she has lots of money. I would then proceed to save her number and text her everyday. :)

If I were to participate in a race, it would be a foot race because I like to run. I am pretty quick and I consider myself a good runner. In general though I do not really want to race right now, but I might to track in the future.

I would say the wheel is the most important invention, because without the wheel how are we supposed to carry things long distances. The wheel changed the way we transported things forever. People underestimate the wheel and its ability today.

What is your favorite kind of weather? Why?

My favorite weather is the rain because I love the smell of it. It also puts me in a more lay back type of mood. The rain is absolutely amazing. I love the cool weather and the dark clouds. The loud cracks of thunder are incredible, and the bright lightning lights up my eyes.

My favorite character is Charlie Brown because he is always laid back and chill. He is like the leader of the group and he makes the executive decisions. Technology could make a Charlie Brown animated movie and they probably really could have advanced with the show.

What is intelligence? Are computers intelligent? Why or why not?

Intelligence is the ability to acquire and acknowledge skills. Computers are intelligent because they can do so many thing that humans can not do. Computers can complete tasks within a seconds. Computers have the ability to search anything in less than a second.

How has technology affected global politics or economics?

Technology has changed the world, and it is still advancing as I speak. Technology allow people to communicate around the world. Technology also allows countries to trade and make deals.

How well do you follow directions?

Well  since I just did the following directions test I sucked at it. I need to read carefully and be a good student.

What would you do if you could travel free anyplace in the world?

If I could travel free anyplace in the world I would go to Italy, because that is where my ancestors are from. I would want to try out the food and visit many tourist hot spots. I would take lots of pictures, and enjoy my trip. I would stay at a very nice hotel and enjoy my stay.

Talk about a time in your life where technology most helped you. It can be medically-related, socially-related, really any time that technology affected you in a positive way.

A time in my life that technology most helped me is when I had to write a paper and it was due at 12:00 am. I then got on the computer at about 11:50 and wrote the paper as fast as I could, and made corrections. If it was not on a computer I would not have been able to finish the paper in time.

How can computers be used as tools for visualizing data, modeling and design, and art?

Computers can download software so that you can design logo and create art. Some of the software can be bought, but most of it is free. There is software such as power point that allows you to edit pictures, and create new ones.

Then you need to plot the points on the graphs

Since Wang patent on the calculating apparatus computers are able to solve equations within a second. Computers have advanced in ways people could not even imagine. Computers have the capability to follow logarithms and solve advanced problem that the human brain can not. Wang changed the way computers work today.

What do you think about when you hear the word data? Where can it be found? Where does it come from?

When I hear the word data I think about the amount of data on my phone. Data allows me to go into apps and use the internet when I'm not connected to wifi. Data can be found in places such as computer files, and hard drives. Data comes from social, transactions, and machine data.

My dad is my hero because he risks is life everyday. My dad is a lieutenant for Metro. He has been a cop for 16 years and plans on being one for about 25. Positive work ethic means getting work done on time and working hard. You have to remain positive and do not get stressed in certain situations. When doing you work you have to do it well and make sure you are giving good answers.

If I were to meet one person from history I would like to meet William Shakespeare. I believe William had some amazing work while he was alive, and people will always read his plays. I would ask him if he had any help while writing his plays, and I would want to know where he came up with his ideas. I would also ask him how long it took him to write one of hos plays.

What would you do it all the electricity in the world just stopped?

   If all electricity just stopped in the world we would have to go back to old times. It would affect me personally and the world. People today rely to much on electricity, and I do not think they would know what to do if there was no electricity. Many people would suffer from anxiety because they are addicted to their cell phones and the internet. The world would definitely be changed until we could get things back to normal.

Augmented reality is a live direct or indirect view of the real world whose elements are augmented by computer generated.  Such as sound, video graphics, and quality. It is edited by a computer and it enhances the users perception of reality.

 In 1981, U.S. performed a nuclear test at Nevada Test Site. What is your thoughts about a nuclear test occurring in Nevada?

A: As long as it is a safe distance away from living areas then I am okay with. Some people now have suffered from cancer due to the radiation from the tests. It has mainly affected older people in their 60's and up. If they were to continue to do nuclear testing in Nevada then I would be a little worried about my health and others.

What type of computer is better a PC or Mac?

I believe a PC is better. Everything is made around a PC. Most downloads are made for PC and they are simply easier to use. In my opinion Mac's are used for graphic design and video editing, but even then you can make a super PC and do even more things on it. I like PC's because you can customize them and build them.

What is a computer? How many computers are in the room?

A computer is a device to search the web and explore new things. You can use computers to play video games, watch stream, and program. My favorite activity on the computer is to play video games and watch youtube.
