How many times have you caught yourself thinking about something else while someone was speaking to you? Was it embarrassing when that person then asked you a question and you couldn’t answer?

It had happened to me multiple times, but only because something more important would be going on so I would have to focus on that. It was not embarrassing when it happened because I explained to this person what had happened and why I was not listening tot them at the time.
