Do you agree that once you have decided to accomplish a task, it is critical to remain committed no matter how tedious or distasteful?

I do not think it is critical to remain committed because if you decide to quit that task and start another one then it is okay. As long as you believe in yourself and in the end you get the job done, and you're happy that is all that matters.
